UPS.
UPS will be delivering cleaner trucks to six U.S. cities and to Canada. The Atlanta, Ga.-based company plans to ship 167 compressed natural gas-powered vehicles to Dallas, Texas; Atlanta, Ga; and Los Angeles, San Ramon, Ontario and Fresno, Calif., along with 139 propane-powered vehicles to Canada.
The CNG-powered vehicles are expected to yield a 20% emissions reductions and 10% improvement in fuel economy over the cleanest diesel engines available in the market.
