Spinning up improves the preparation of nanofibres.(Fibres)

Korean workers developing techniques to improve the electrospinning of nanofibres have revealed their latest findings in International Patent WO 2005/073441.

The Patent applicants, Raiso Chemicals Korea Inc and Hak-Yong Kim, say conventional electrospinning devices have low productivities and tend to form droplets as well as fibres, so degrading the quality of the resulting nonwoven fabric. Their solution is to spin from the bottom up.
