Siemens Industrial Solutions and Services has a contract from China's Jiuquan Iron & Steel (Jisco) to supply a four-high skin-pass mill, to start operating in June 2009. Jisco is building a new cold-rolling complex at Jiayuguan, and plans to roll CQ, DQ, DDQ, HSLA, and EDDQ strip in widths up to 1,680 mm. Max. coil weight is 31 mt.
