When Decosit Brussels opens its doors on September 9th, visitors will witness nothing less than the birth of a new trade fair which integrates the formerly simultaneous but nonetheless entirely separate trade events, Decosit and DecoContract.

Both shows will truly become a single entity, and

will be organized as one complete event, thus removing the clearly-drawn boundaries that formerly separated the two events. This deliberate and wise choice was made in the light of current market developments and the wishes of exhibitors themselves.

Decosit Brussels identifies itself ever more clearly as the international trade show for fabrics and furnishings, with a range of products on offer that is intended for both the residential and the contract market.

According to the new concept, the special projects Trendforum, hotel Rooms and Decotec are fully integrated and brought under the charming and bustling "Alice Town", along with the adjacent design exhibition, Indigo.

Decosit Brussels will become a single, overarching concept that will be presented as such to professionals in the sector via one worldwide promotional campaign.

At the fair itself, this new approach will receive visual expression through the transfer of DecoContract from Hall 12 to Hall 9, where one of the two entrances (accessible from parking C) is located. Visitors no longer need to go through an additional badge check if they wish to go from Decosit to DecoContract or vice versa. The boundary between the two sectors of Decosit Brussels will be marked only by a different color of carpet.

What remains unchanged is that DecoContract showcases exhibitors whose product range focuses mainly on window and wall coverings for the contract market and more specifically for the hospitality sector, whereas Decosit continues to specialize in upholstery fabrics for both market segments.

Decosit Brussels, with its 350 exhibitors from 30 countries and its 4,000 visiting companies from 100 countries, clearly remains the largest and most international B2B show in the sector, with the broadest range of products on offer in the world. Its basic principles remain unchanged, with the accent on quality, selectiveness, creativity, specialization and professionalism.
