Dow Corning Introduces New Impact Protection Technology

Dow Corning Corporation, a leading supplier of silicone solutions for the textile industry, introduced its new, patented impact protection technology, the "Dow Corning Active Protection System", at the Techtextil-Symposium North America.

Budden's presentation reviewed the development and testing of the "Active Protection System" as well as its potential for wide-ranging applications within the textile industry. In addition, he shared performance data comparing the "Active Protection System" with other protective apparel armor systems.

Budden believes this unique, new technology has potential applications in other industries as well, such as life sciences, civil and military defense, and construction.
