AquaChek supports troops in Baghdad.

U.S. troops in Iraq are getting the royal treatment thanks to Maj. James Stearns (shown) and the folks at AquaChek Pool & Spa Test Strips in Elkhart, Ind. Palace pools in Iraq are being repaired and filled in an effort to help boost the morale of troops overseas. Army Reservist Stearns,

a former IPSSA member and owner of Stearns Pools and Spas in Sugarland, Texas, wrote to NSPI letting it know about the pools and their need for water-treatment chemicals and six-way test strips. Cases of AquaChek test strips arrived at the base a short time later, and the troops enjoyed the pool's grand opening on the 4th of July.
