Polaris acquisition completed.

The Zodiac Group has completed its previously announced acquisition of Polaris Pool Systems Inc. of Vista, Calif. The 250 million Euro (~$324 million) transaction strengthens Zodiac's position in the automatic pool cleaners market. "Most people will not even notice that Polaris merged with Zodiac

since everything will continue on as it has in the past," said Kate Thielscher, president of Zodiac's Pool Care Division in Pompano Beach, Fla. The two companies will continue to actively research and develop new products and technologies. The integration of Polaris into Zodiac's financial statements took effect Jan. 18. Zodiac is a Paris-based supplier to the airline, marine and pool industries.
