Irrigation consultant Ronald Sneed has a resume that would be the envy of any irrigation professional. A retired Reserve General Officer, Sneed was on the North Carolina State University Biology and Agriculture Engineering faculty for 32 years.

An IA member for 44 years; Sneed is now in his 13th consecutive year on the certification board, where he served as chair from 1993-1994. He was on the board when the certification process first began in the early 1980s. He also serves on the association awards and honors committee, the program committee, and was a member of the technical standards committee.
