State Agriculture Board Finds Cases of Tree Virus in Franklin Township, Pa.

Jul. 22--The state Department of Agriculture found three positive cases of the plum pox virus, one within Franklin Township.

The other two homeowners' peach trees were in Latimore Township, Adams County. Workers from the Pennsylvania Department of Agriculture removed and destroyed the trees.

Crews will be out testing other homeowners' trees nearby.
