Cows and Effect: Milk to Hit $3.15 per Gallon for New Yorkers.

Milk prices are moo-ving way up.

On Thursday, New Yorkers will have to fork over as much as $3.15 to bring home a gallon of whole milk, dairy officials said.

"Prices will be increasing 30 cents a gallon," said Jessica Chittendon, spokeswoman for the state's Department of Agriculture and Markets.
