The FMC insecticide endosulfan has been sold to the Makhteshim Agan Group (MANA), Omar, Israel. (Marketing News).

The FMC insecticide endosulfan has been sold to the Makhteshim Agan Group (MANA), Omar, Israel. For over 40 years, FMC sold endosulfan under the brand name Thiodan[R]. The business package includes all current EPA registrations and formulations for the FMC Thiodan brand of endosulfan. The sale,

however, does not include the brand name, which is a registered trademark of Aventis. Makhteshim Agan will sell endosulfan under the new name Thionex[TM]. The current EPA label for Thionex contains all applications previously held by FMC.
