Tuskerdirect grows fleet management.

TUSKERDIRECT IS TO expand its fleet management business, following its acquisition of the goodwill, assets and certain liabilities of Goodwood Fleet Management for an undisclosed sum.

Both Tuskerdirect and Inspire Fleet Solutions will be run separately, but will look to share certain back office systems and functions to provide synergies and enhanced services.

Inspire Fleet Solutions will be led by head of fleet management, Stuart Donnelly and will focus on providing corporate clients with the fullest range of fleet management services from its offices in Chichester, West Sussex.

Donnelly said: "The aim of the new business is to provide a range of highly personalised fleet services, supported by leading-edge technology."

Tuskerdirect and Simon English said that the acquisition would bring benefits to each business and provide both with opportunities for growth.

"Tuskerdirect will look to benefit from the skills that Inspire Fleet Solutions can bring us in the areas of fleet and customer management, while we will be able to help them develop their online customer and driver support systems.

"This acquisition is part of an ongoing strategy to develop and grow Tuskerdirect in line with expansion plans over the next three to five years."
