QuickBooks 2008...Simple Start

Okay, people first an apology from me...been busy, computer crashed - excuses, excuses right?  Well, I'm back...we'll cover what's new for 2008...I have also put together a comprehensive list of tutorials and how to articles that we're going to get published.  Also would like to start a series on 'add-on' products...if there is something specific you'd like to see on here...please let me know.  Now, on to the blog!

Simple Start

Actually starting sometime in 2007 - Intuit is offering QB Simple Start for free - click here to go to their download page.  This is the same software that WAS retailing for $99.95 - you can still buy it for that price but the ONLY things you will not receive is (this is outlined on the above link - just wanted to give you a quick reference):

• 250 Standard or Voucher Checks
• One–year, 1GB QuickBooks Online Backup service
• Learning Accounting Essentials training CD
• Step-by-step tutorials

QB Simple Start 2008 is now offering payroll features...the same payroll features that are available payroll features that have been in QuickBooks Pro and above for years.  Keep in mind this is still SIMPLE START, classes and job costing are still not options.
