Berdon, based in New York, admitted four new partners: John Fitzgerald, an advisor to family/owner-managed business clients in hospitality, distribution, manufacturing, and real estate; Jeffrey Frisch, who specializes in advertising and related businesses; Jack Pulvirenti, a specialist in the hospitality

Walter "Butch" Gelnovatch joined Berenfeld, Spritzer, Shechter & Sheer of Miami as managing partner. He conies from Miami-based Rachlin, Cohen & Holtz, where he was COO and headed the corporate risk management group. At BSS&S, Gelnovatch succeeds Carl Margenau, who recently retired. The firm has net revenue of $10 million, eight partners, almost 100 employees and two offices.

Blue & Co., based in Carmel, Ind., elected Michael A. Fleetwood to its executive committee. Fleetwood is director-in-charge of the firm's office in Seymour, Ind. Blue also named Jeffrey L. Reed and Karla M. Schlichte as directors. Reed works in the healthcare department. Schlichte works in the not-for-profit department. Blue has FY04 net revenue of $22.8 million, 19 partners, 150 total staff and seven offices.

Blum Shapiro of West Hartford, Conn., elected Vanessa E. Rossitto to partnership. She is director of the firm's governmental services group. The firm has FY04 net revenue of $20 million, 24 partners and 140 total staff.

Clark Nuber, based in Bellevue, Wash., admitted three new shareholders: Jim Darragh, Nick Pavelich and Jane Searing. Darragh heads the firm's manufacturing practice. Pavelich specializes in federal tax consulting and compliance. Searing heads CN's private foundation practice. CN has FY04 net revenue of $18.1 million, 17 partners and 107 total staff.

Seth McDanieI joined Atlanta-based Frazier & Deeter as a partner in its assurance practice. Previously, he was associate director of the Public Company Accounting Oversight Board, where he helped develop the accounting practice inspection program that is in place today. F&D has FY04 net revenue of $13 million, 13 partners, 85 total staff and two offices.

The following were admitted as principals/shareholders at Rothstein, Kass & Co., based in Roseland, N.J.: Kelly Easterling, Joseph T. Heavy, Gregg L. Kudisch, David liebman, Elizabeth Manzi, Guy Miller, Jeff S. Parker and James Russell. All are based in Roseland except Easterling, who is based in Dallas. RK&Co. has net revenue of $71.7 million, 33 partners, 504 total staff and eight offices.

Gale Moore joined Singer Lewak Greenbaum & Goldstein of Los Angeles as a partner. She'll work in the firm's SEC Practice Group and is based in the firm's Orange County, Calif, office. Moore previously worked at Deloitte & Touche. SLG&G has FY04 net revenue of $21 million, 20 partners, 160 total staff and three offices.

Smart & Associates, based in Devon, Pa., admitted two new partners: Susan Kilby and John Rowe. Kilby is the practice leader for IT audit in the firm's Chicago office. Rowe, based in Devon, leads several of the firm's largest internal audit and Sarbanes-Oxley engagements and is the internal audit practice quality assurance director. Smart has net revenue of $42.5 million, 46 partners, 450 total staff and seven offices.
