The American Woman's Society of CPAs elected its national board of directors. Elected were Rendra Hutchison of Affiliated Managers Group in Prides Crossing, Mass., president; Mary Riley of Mary B. Riley, CPA, of Atlanta, president elect; and Stefanie Yurus of Children's Hospital & Research Center Foundation in Walnut Creek, Calif., treasurer/secretary. Vice presidents are Louise Teeter of Louise C. Teeter, CPA in Marina del Rey, Calif., publications; Mary Cheaney of Mary F. Cheaney, CPA in North Miami Beach, Fla., member services; and Jennifer Laudermilch of PricewaterhouseCoopers in Jersey City, N.J., marketing. Directors are Robin Phaneuf of PwC in San Diego, Kristina Etherington of Deloitte & Touche in Seattle, and Shari Harris of Rothstein, Kass & Co. in Roseland, N.J.

BKR International admitted two new member firms: Salibello & Broder of New York (eight partners, 100 total staff, two offices) and Harbinson Mulholland of Belfast, Northern Ireland (seven partners, 49 total staff).

The Florida Institute of CPAs installed Richard A. Berkowitz as president. Berkowitz is managing director of Miami-based Berkowitz Dick Pollack & Brant.

IGAF Worldwide named three new officers to its World Board of Directors. Anthony de Lacey, chairman of London-based Buzzacott, was named president. G. Gregory Colson, MP of Atlanta-based Moore Colson, is treasurer. Carry Leyshon, partner and former chairman of National Sothertons Group in Sydney, Australia, is secretary.

The International Association of Practising Accountants elected the following Americas Group Chapter officers: president, James P. Mulroy, a member at M.D. Oppenheim & Co. in Iselin, NJ.; vice-president, Roger D. Werner, founding partner at Werner & Co. of Lynnwood, Wash.; and secretary/treasurer, Debra A. Hunter, shareholder at Hunter Hagan & Co. in Scottsdale, Ariz. Representative to the IAPA worldwide executive committee is David A. Kessler, partner at Kessler and Co. in Portland, Ore. Immediate past president is L. Minton Rosenhouse, managing director at Pearson Rosenhouse and Assoc. of Dallas.

The Leading Edge Alliance admitted two new firms: Dr. Kleeberg and Partner of Munich, Germany (FY04 net revenue: $12 million, seven partners, 62 total staff), and Van Oers Accountants en Belastingadviseurs (FY04 net revenue: $17.3 million, 12 partners, 165 total staff), which has offices in Dutch cities of Breda, Oosterhout, Roosendaal and Etten-Leur.
