Aronson & Co. of Rockville, Md., admitted Scott Brannan as an officer. Brannan specializes in providing accounting and consulting services to technology companies. Previously he was vice president and controller of a Washington-based Fortune-500 public company. Aronson has FY04 net revenue of

$33 million, 18 partners and 153 total staff.

BKD, based in Springfield, Mo., elected 19 new partners: Jeffrey E. Alien (Springfield), Timothy T. Beranek (St. Louis), Sue B. Brammer (Kansas City, Mo.), Cindy H. Boyle (Little Rock, Ark.), Troy J. Gilstorf (Indianapolis), Vicki D. Graft, (Kansas City, Mo.), Brian P. Hickman (Springfield, Mo.), Matthew R. List (Lincoln, Neb.), David S. Mason (Colorado Springs, Colo.), Angela R. Morelock (Springfield), Mary Anne Pipkin, (Springfield), Dirk Pulliam (Fort Smith, Ark.), William E. Rasmussen (Kansas City), Kraig A. Ritter (Decatur, Ill.), Gregory S. Sissel (Houston), Anthony M. Brown Smith Wallace of St. Louis named Bill Willbrand as member in charge of marketing. BSW has FY04 net revenue of $13.5 million, 15 members, 135 total staff and three offices.

Citrin Cooperman of New York admitted Michael Rhodes to the partnership. His new title will be Partner in charge of Corporate Governance. CC has FY04 revenue of $36.5 million, 32 partners, 135 total staff and three offices.

Deloitte named Evan Hockberg to the position of national director of community involvement. Hockberg joins the firm from Community Wealth Ventures, where, as managing director, his clients included Timberland, Ben & Jerry's, Alcoa, and AARP.

Robert McMillan joined Eisner of New York as an audit partner in the financial services practice. Michael Weiss re-joined the firm as a tax partner. Eisner has FY05 net revenue of $84 million, 63 partners, 378 total staff and four offices.

Gettry Marcus Stern & Lehrer of New York elected Robin Rokuson to partnership. Previously, she was a senior tax manager. GMS&L has 11 partners, 53 total staff and two offices.

KPMG also appointed new members to its global and U.S. leadership teams. Mike Wareing from KPMG's United Kingdom firm, was named CEO of KPMG International. Tim Flynn, chairman of the U.S. firm, was named chairman of the Americas region. Ben Van der Veer, senior partner of The Netherlands member firm, was appointed chairman of KPMG's Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMA) region. Jean-Paul Thill, from KPMG's member firm in France, becomes CEO for KPMG's EMA region. John Harrison, co-chairman of KPMG in China and Hong Kong, was appointed head of KPMG's Asia Pacific region. In the U.S., Jack T. Taylor was appointed to the newly created position of executive vice chair -operations. Henry Keizer was named vice chair - audit. Mark Goodburn was named vice chair - advisory. Peter F. Minan was named national managing partner - audit. Lynne M. Doughtie was named national managing partner advisory.

Thomas M. "Mickey" O'Neal joined Malone & Bailey of Houston as an audit partner. M&B has FY04 net revenue of $2.4 million, three partners and 13 total staff.

Marcum & Kliegman of Melville, N. Y., appointed Ronald Storch as partner-in-charge of its Long Island office. Previously, he was head of the accounting services department. M&K has FY04 net revenue of $60 million, 31 partners, 264 total staff and five offices.

Jim McGowan joined San Francisco-based Novogradac & Co. as a partner in the Boston office. Prior to joining the firm, McGowan was the leader of the National Affordable Housing Practice for American Express Tax and Business Services in its association with Ziner, Kennedy & Lehan. Novogradac has FY04 net revenue of $24.7 million, 12 partners, 190 total staff and nine offices.

Reznick Group, based in Bethesda, Md., admitted the following as principals: Anton Cohen (audit, Bethesda), Jonette Hahn (National Affordable Housing Practice, Baltimore), and Joshua Northcutt (audit, Atlanta). Reznick has FY04 net revenue of $109.2 million, 57 principals, 681 total staff and five offices.

Stonefield Josephson of Santa Monica, Calif., admitted John Engelbrecht as an officer. His specialties include manufacturing, technology, real estate, and nonprofits. Before joining SJ, he was a tax partner at Grant Thornton. SJ has FY04 net revenue of $20.6 million, 23 partners, 99 total staff and four offices.
