Valentine´s Day. Your restaurant could become a couple´s "place" if the evening is executed with passion, love, perfection, and laced with romance. Think of Cupid´s day as a showcase for future dinners, receptions, or just the place to go for a romantic interlude.

Ten tips to tantalize the heartstrings:

). Serve a Hearts of Palm salad.
). Offer a complimentary glass of champagne to every diner.
). Artichoke Heart Risotto is a popular entrée item on Valentine´s Day.
). Dining room lighting should be romantically dim.
). Tables should host candlelight.
). Staff uniforms- wrinkle free, cleaned and pressed.
). Soft music, a must.
). Strawberries dipped in Chocolate, served with a dollop of Crème Fraise, will be 86´d by evening´s end.
). Print the evening´s menu, dated, should be printed on special paper.
). Presented with the guest check, complimentary truffles, a sweet touch.
