Frontier on the Forefront of Fuel Efficiency
Frontier Airlines is set to implement an energy efficient aircraft.
In an effort to curb ever-rising fuel prices, Frontier Airlines is set to implement an energy efficient aircraft. The carrier has said it will replace its fleet of regional jets with Q400s next week.
The new planes will increase Frontier's passenger capacity and help to minimize fuel use.
As for the Q400, it's a fast turboprop that's very fuel efficient. According to a representative for Frontier, it burns a third of the fuel of their current regional jets.
The planes are due at the airport today: Friday, December 7. Frontier will also be adding a third daily flight today.
