UNIFOCUS OPENS A NEW WINDOW

Imbedding a video in an e-mail is the latest wrinkle from hospitality solutions provider UniFocus. Not only does the new technology enable billboarding by either stills or video, the technology automatically rolls to a website where a questionnaire or other kind of strategic communications appears

on the recipient's screen.

Among potential uses: showcasing the employee of the month, posting guest surveys, and highlighting a welcome message from the general manager.

"As the industry becomes more Internet-savvy, this can be used anywhere from confirming reservations, to enhancing guests' experiences during their stay, to being a new component of personal touch for valued customers - extending the connection and increasing loyalty," says Mark Heymann, UniFocus's chief executive officer.
