Disney to add Florida timeshare

Disney Vacation Club will expand its timeshare resorts at the Walt Disney World Resort in Florida when it opens its fourth project resort, Disney's Beach Club Villas, in the fall of 2002.

The proposed development will occupy a six-acre site next to Disney's Beach Club Resort in the Epcot Theme Park resorts area. Designed to resemble Cape May oceanfront homes built in the early 20th century, the structures will reflect "a light, comfortable ambiance" with pastel colors, porches and other decorative elements, says the company.

Disney Vacation Development now holds a membership of 48,000 member families from more than 60 countries.
