CHRISTMAS WEEK SETS RECORD 
 
For the third year in a row, the week after Christmas has set an 
all-time domestic high for seven days of ticket sales. The $355.4 
million scored at the B.O. between Dec. 26 and Jan. 1 repped a 6.5% 
improvement on the previous mark of $333.8 million. Record-breaking 
week, in which an astounding seven pics grossed more than $20 million 
each, was kicked off by a robust $186 million weekend, the highest-ever 
total for a three-day frame.
