PARIS -- Digital delivery service SmartJog has partnered with the Festival de Cannes and its simultaneous mega-market, the Marche du Film, to allow Croisette-bound distributors to send video material directly to the market, both groups said Tuesday.
SmartJog will provide its SmartExpress
service to UTRAM, a local provider in Cannes.
The Marche du Film is hoping the collaboration will facilitate dealmaking by eliminating delays associated with physical shipping.
"Distributors will benefit from quick and cost-effective digital delivery, along with the highest level of security," Marche du Film executive director Jerome Paillard said in a statement.
