It’s a good idea to try to plan for callbacks to be made to patients. Schedule that as part of the day, perhaps at noontime, perhaps at the end of the day. Calls that are less urgent can wait until the evening time. Calls which may have some urgency or, better, if you have the time, make them during the day. Perhaps at 11:50 in the morning or just before the lunch-hour break for your staff, make those calls then. If patients are amenable to it, start using email.
