I see the point that you are making, but I also understand what people mean when they say no on the vacation. It's hard to think of taking time off especially when you have a small business.
So many fears of what may happen, and in some businesses the "getting back to work" time is too costly. If you take time off, it takes you double the time you took to get things rolling again.
I agree that we all need a vacation...I know I sure could use one. I actually have one planned in August, and I am looking forward to it. We'll see how long it takes to get things rolling again when I get back. I'll let you know. Have a good one Ken!

Managing "Travel Guilt"
I hadn't even thought of that, but you're right, people post that information all over the place. I have a friend of mine who is currently on a trek up to Alaska and is posting pictures throughout his journey. He has also let everyone know that he is going to be gone for over a month. I never thought to ask him who was handling his house here while he was away.
Your story about the battery is crazy. It is plausible that someone is trying to make amends for a bad situation that they were in and because they had to put someone else in a bad situation. So you can see why they would fall for it.
Thanks for the tip! I will check with my friend now and make sure his home is being taken care of. Have a good one!
