If you decide to allow multiple users access to QuickBooks, you may want to turn on the QuickBooks Audit Trail feature. The feature lets you keep a record of who makes what changes to the QuickBooks data file. Be aware that using the Audit Trail slows down the software program. However, with a permanent record of who is doing what, you are better able to improve efficiency and cut down on possible fraud.
