When picking a managed care health plan for your company, it's important to ask a number of key questions: 

• Is the insurance carrier licensed, accredited, reputable, and financially secure? 
• Are policies renewed every six months or each year?
• Is the plan easy to administer, and are claims processed and paid quickly?

It also makes sense to find out if the insurer provides educational and other communication materials to employees, and whether or not it provides sufficient financial incentive to encourage employees to select network providers?
