Xerox is one of the leading vendors helping companies manage their documents. Managing documents is more than just scanning documents, but it also includes workflow, permissions, and being able to integrate paper documents in the normal "digital process" of communications in a company. This includes employees, partners, customers and any others.
July 1st is a GREAT day for sales professionals and business owners. July 1st is the first day of the second half of the year, the first day of Q3 and a "fresh start" for those who have not had a particularly stellar first six months of 2009.
This was a tweet on Twitter by Scott Ginsberg (known on Twitter as NameTagScott) I like the question, so instead of asking it further - which you can answer on your own - I'd like to talk about "part II" - what to do once you ...
In 2007, there were 5,488 fatal workplace injuries. Investing in safety resources can save not only your budget by avoiding fines and loss costs, but may save your workers' lives.
Great post on motivation! I get so tired of hearing negative feedback from everyone; it can begin to bring you down even when you try not to let it. It's difficult to stay positive when everyone is down. I told all of my friends, etc. that if they don't have something positive to say, I don't want to hear it right now. Thanks for the motivation!! ...
Yay for Xerox! That sounds like a fantastic machine, and it's about time. I could give you many stories about being covered in toner while trying to replace cartridges! I am glad that they have moved forward to a simple easy process.

How You Can Have Fun In the Copy Room: Less Waste, Lower Color Costs
I totally agree with the fact that you are supposed to get more from VoIP and pay less. It seems to be that way, but I did try a few years ago to switch to VoIP and it was a disaster. When a call would come in it would disconnect the other line and it was just crazy. I am sure that the VoIP system has made tremendous growth in the last few years, so hopefully these types of problems are fixed. I know a company that has just switched to VoIP and they seem to be very happy with it. I will probably look into again when I see that they have made it for a while without those types of problems. I agree with Jason though, the traditional telco charges are ridiculous. I asked once if there was a fee for sneezing while you were on the phone!! VoIP is definitely the new way to go, and the savings are huge!

Save While You Grow with an Outsourced Telephone System
I understand what you're saying and for me, I know the steps that I need to take to better my business, but here is a suggestion for you. There are probably many people out there that aren't sure what steps to take. You should do a post, or a few posts on what steps can get you where. I know it's difficult and it depends on what type of company, etc. Possibly just a general outline. Anyway, love your posts and would look forward to see how you broke it down.

If I Could Just ____, I Would Take My Business To the Next Level
I have been in sales for almost 20 years now and I would add in work habits to that list. Most of your list hints towards that, and most would require good habits to obtain, so in a round about way you are already stating that.
