Storage Options

Companies can choose to offer storage above, below or next to the worksurface.
Open shelving and overhead bins offer convenient above-the-desktop access without taking up valuable floor space. These either hang from the panel wall or are placed on top of a worksurface.Pedestals consist of regular and file drawer units that are placed under the worksurface. To increase mobility, pedestals can be purchased as wheeled units. When adding storage under a worksurface, keep in mind that there should be enough leg space so as not to constrict movement.
Lateral files, bookshelves and credenzas can provide additional storage for a workstation. These can be useful for workers who require a lot of easily accessible filing space.
