Kathy Yates, CEO
Kathy Yates joined AllBusiness in July 2005 as COO and was named CEO in January 2007. Before AllBusiness, Yates was President & COO of MarketWatch.com where she actively participated in the sale of the company to Dow Jones for $519 million in January 2005. Prior to that, Yates was founder and vice president of business development for Knight Ridder Digital and senior vice president and general manager of the San Jose Mercury News. Other previous roles include vice president of product development for Women.com, and founding board member of CareerPath (now CareerBuilder) and Classified Ventures. In 2004, Yates was named one of the Bay Area's 100 most influential women in business by the San Francisco Business Times.

Jim Cook, CFO
Over his 15+ year career in Silicon Valley, Jim Cook has served in a variety of senior financial and operational roles from seed-stage startups to public companies. He built the financial and operational foundations for two high profile billion dollar companies (Intuit and NetFlix). At NetFlix, Cook built and managed all financial and operational functions from the company's founding in 1997 until 1999. At Intuit, Cook served in key financial leadership roles as the company transitioned from a small two product private company (150 employees) to a divisionally organized public entity (+3000 employees). Specifically, Cook served as financial controller for the Small Business Division from 1994-1996, a +$100 million annual revenue business, and from 1991-1994, Jim was the corporate FP&A manager. Cook holds a BS of Finance from the University of Southern California.

Don Kaiser, VP Engineering
Don Kaiser has over 20 years experience as an executive and director in the software and online service industries. Prior to joining AllBusiness, Don was director of product development at Adzaar, an online advertising service company. Previously, Don served as chief technology officer and application architect at DevX, a community and educational Web site for developers.

Dan Silmore, VP Marketing
Dan Silmore was named vice president of marketing in September 2005. Silmore brings more than 15 years of marketing, online media, and financial services experience to AllBusiness. Prior to AllBusiness, he served as general manager of Dow Jones' MarketWatch Network of consumer Web sites — MarketWatch.com (formerly CBS.MarketWatch.com), BigCharts.com and VirtualStockExchange.com. He had been MarketWatch's vice president of marketing prior to the acquisition of the company by Dow Jones in January 2005. Other previous roles include director of consumer marketing for the CBS HealthWatch Web site of Medscape, Inc., and vice president of e-commerce marketing for Wells Fargo's business Internet services division.

Greg Stern, VP Product Development
Greg Stern has spent the last 15 years in various senior-level product management roles. Prior to joining AllBusiness, he spent a year as a consultant to Primedia Automotive where he was charged with developing the overall online business strategy which resulted in the $72M acquisition of Automotive.com. Prior to that, he served as vice president of developer relations at Macromedia where he was responsible for developing and overseeing various initiatives including a software subscription program, developer community relations and Flash video. Stern has also been senior vice president in charge of product development and content at DevX.com, senior vice president & general manager at CNET where he founded builder.com and vice president and general manager at Seybold Seminars where he was responsible for the Seybold line of publications, conferences and trade shows.

Mike Rogers, VP Sales
Mike Rogers brings deep media and advertising experience to AllBusiness. Prior to joining the company, he led national account sales at SourceForge Inc. and Reed Business – both worldwide leaders in their respective business-to-business markets. Prior to that, he served as President/CEO at Syndicate IQ, a start-up focused on RSS marketing and syndication. Rogers has also been Corporate Vice President of Sales for Knight Ridder and President/CEO of Computerworld at IDG. He has also worked at advertising agencies including Campbell-Ewald, LINTAS:New York and Tallant Yates where he managed such leading brands as IBM, Hewlett-Packard, Lexmark, Lipton, Walt Disney World and Eastern Airlines.
