5 Recession-Busting Retail & Restaurant Marketing Ideas
Hi Tonya,
I agree completely! It's great to be at home, and it's wonderful that you found a solution for not having quite as much time as you needed. I think one of the hardest parts about being a work at home mom is that we sometimes feel we shouldn't have to ask for help (after all, our idea is we want to work from home AND be with our children). A lot of working at home moms feel guilt about getting help if they need it - but it can make the world of difference sometimes! Glad to hear that it is working out for you.

Thanks for visiting!

Mothers in Business: Growing a Business Sometimes Follows Your Children's Path
I love operating my business from home and being accessible for my kids. However, I did find it challenging working with an infant. He didn?t sleep much, as most newborns do. I eventually hired a part-time nanny and it made a world of difference.

Brand Repositioning Is Easier Than You Think
I will sorely miss Gourmet's thoughtful and sometimes provocative writing on current food trends. Thanks in part to Gourmet, I've been buying a lot more of my food with an eye on sustainability. At the farmers market, I find most meat is definitely more expensive than I can get at the big box grocery store, but I like buying it directly from the farmer/fisherman, the flavor is definitely better, and yes, I buy (and eat) less meat, which I think is positive. And fresh, in-season veggies and fruits are comparable to or less than the grocery store prices, and there is a wider variety. Bottom line: about the same food budget, higher flavor profile, less calories.
